On Tuesday July 23 all 15 MOVATI Athletic locations across Ontario are hosting a fundraiser in support of Special Olympics Ontario. The event marks the launch of “MOVATI Cares”, a company-wide initiative with the mission of making a difference in the lives of kids by supporting Canadian youth programs.
“MOVATI Cares is about giving back to the community and raising up the future generation. Special Olympics Ontario was an easy choice because it works at a grassroots level and helps athletes with disabilities as young as two years old,” commented Chuck Kelly, CEO MOVATI Athletic.
Several clubs have supported local community programs in the past, but MOVATI Moves for Special Olympics Ontario is the first time the company has collectively aimed to fundraise for a single cause at all 15 Locations. Each club is holding a raffle and members are invited to participate in fitness classes from 5:30 – 8PM and make a voluntary donation.
