Week three of Maximize Mondays, we have our guest Dr. Billy Strean joining us to teach us about mindfulness.
Billy Strean, Ph.D., is Professor and 3M National Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta. With a background in sport psychology, Dr. Strean is passionate about helping people to be “Alive With Joy,” the title of his latest book. His teaching focuses on transformation, leadership, and communication. His current research is on mindfulness for social and emotional wellness in schools.

“Mindfulness: What, Why, & How”
This session will provide basic information and a variety of experiences to learn about and to receive the benefits of mindfulness.
