Elevate with Exercise


Leading week 3 of Elevate with Exercise, Coach Amanda will be guiding us through a full body workout.

Amanda has been coaching for over 20 years and is currently a coach of the Edmonton soccer and snowshoe programs. When it comes to being part of Special Olympics, Amanda believes it is very hard to explain how it impacts your life, and you have to experience it to understand the positive impact it has. It has become a very important part of Amanda's life and she has grown to consider the athletes to be family.

Social Club


Social Club returned last week and it was a BLAST to say the least. Join us for our next session on October 19th!

Social Club will take place every Tuesday from 5-6 PM MT and any SO athletes can take part by registering.

The club is hosted by our friends from motionball and Alberta LETR

PEAK Eats with Robyn Madden


Join us Tuesday, October 19 at 7:00 P.M. MT for a PEAK Eats, a nutrition session with Robyn Madden, our resident PEAK nutrition guru, who is returning for a recipe share and Q&A session.

Robyn Madden is a current Ph.D. student in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She has obtained two undergraduate degrees from Mount Royal University and was the recipient of the 2019 Mount Royal University Alumni Achievement Horizon Award. Her research extends across multiple fields, including nutrition and dietary supplement use in Paralympic athletes, exploring the role of wearable technology in clinical populations, and assessing the effects of caffeine on ice hockey performance. Outside of research, she enjoys reading, travelling, and jogging with her Shetland Sheepdog, Finlay.
